“There is so much joy in watching people wake up to the wisdom of their bodies, and find within them a wellspring of comfort, safety, and spiritual renewal.”

Teaching from the home studio in 2020.

The Story

Sacred Space was first formed as a virtual yoga studio in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Anxiety and stress levels were sky-high, and Meg combined her yoga and ministry skills to help friends and parishioners cope. She soon realized she had tapped into a deep need, within her community and within her own soul, and began to create more spaces for people to reconnect with their bodies as a resource for their spiritual lives.

Meg now leads retreats, workshops, group classes, and one-on-one sessions for people in all walks of life through Sacred Space Yoga.

Meg’s approach is…

HOLISTIC

Our bodies, minds, emotions, and spiritual lives are not separate parts of us. They are integrally connected. Meg’s creative leadership, both on and off the mat, seeks to engage all of these parts, nurturing our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing as we recover our hidden wholeness.

INCLUSIVE

Some people find the idea of yoga or meditation intimidating. They think they are not flexible enough, holy enough, thin enough, fit enough, or female enough. Meg is commitment to cultivating spaces where all bodies, beliefs, faith traditions, and experiences are welcomed and celebrated.
